Not that I don't like the Heat but we don't have central air and my husband Has Multiple Sclerosis pretty bad . The heat just adds to how terrible he feels . So the last 2 weeks have been pretty bad. He can only walk to the bathroom and to the dinner table with his cane and holding part of wall .Although last night poor guy fell into the wall .
I honestly hate to watch him just losing so much of his body .It hurts me so bad ! But Iam so thankful to God Iam blessed to be the one to help take care of him . I would not trade my life for anything. Although we have went through ALOT of changes the last 2 years , I know the lord is with us each step. I worry so much about the older children ,it is very hard on them to watch and of course some have alot more responsibility then there sisters who are at college had.But they love their daddy so much and I see such great care when they are with him.
So on top of everything else going on we have been waiting about 20 months for us to get a schedule hearing with the judge for his social Security Disability. Why you ask would we have to wait this long , I DON'T KNOW !!! I honestly don't know why we were denied . Keith is on a very dangerous drug to help slow down his MS called Tysabri which we are about to receive his 16th treatment ,so after a 1 year and 1/2 I really don't see that it has helped him much at all. There is a serious side effect with this drug and it is only approved with a black box warning from the FDA .Oh yes the side effect is death !!! I just don't see why we are risking this and it isn't making him feel better. On top of everything else ,it cost 8900.00 a MONTH for the medicine . Which we get free ,which concerns me even more. I feel like he is more of a Guinea pig :( .
so Keith cant hardly walk ,has serious Alzheimer's symptoms . Cant go anywhere or he gets lost and confused. He cant make it to the bathroom or take a shower by himself. He drops everything he is holding on to including our sweeet Lizzie (she was ok). His Arms and legs are super heavy and have the pins and needles feeling all the time and well the exhaustion he has is not even explainable . He will sleep all night to just feel like he ran a 20 mile race. And this is what it is like everyday . But the government said 20 m0nths ago he isn't disabled and can work . WE have every single thing documented with his neurologist and tons of Mri's that show the ms has eaten its way into his brain tissue. Not too mention who leaves a 110,000 a year job for poverty . yes Social security you are right we are trying to trick the system . I know I seem angry and I guess I am Because honestly the way the government with social security is they could denie him again . It looks like within the next few months we will see the judge and Iam praying so hard it will be approved. Will this fix everything "No" but will take a great burden off of my Amazing husband and help him to know he is taking care of us ,even though he already is . If you would please pray with us ,it will be a yes and the judge will see us soon . I would be so thankful.
With all of this going on I must not end this with out telling you . That For the last 2 years our lord has TAKEN EXCELLENT care of us . We have always had a place to live ,food to eat and even many items that were not needs taken care of . I know only because of Christ . We have learned so much about the love Christ has for us and how he has sent his people to take care of us . It has been such a amazing amount of love we have felt from God . Thank you so much Lord for loving us and teaching us !! Taking care of Keith and I and our 10 beautiful blessings who give Keith so much joy to love on and be with . And no they are not a burden and if anything with out all the little ones he would be SO lonely all day . He just loves to watch them play and talk with them :)
Blessed Beyond Belief
She looks well to the ways of her household,And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and bless her;Her husband also ,and he praised her saying"many daughters have done nobly, butyou excel them all"Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised(what I pray to be like, but fall short)

Our sweet "canadian" daughter is home
I wanted to give a quick update that keirsten flew home(2000 miles) on Tuesday . We are so thankful to god she is home safe and we did miss her so much .
She is catching up on some sleep ,there is a time difference and you know how flying can tire you out.
She is doing well ,but is missing her canadian family . She was so BLESSED to have stayed with the most wonderful ,wonderful family .God is so good :)
And of course she is planning next summer already :)
As you can see from this picture her little sister and brothers missed her so Much

She really grew in her walk with Christ while away this summer and loves God more then ever . We are so proud and thankful for Keirsten . This was a huge trip to fly internationally all by herself and she did GREAT ,
The one downside is Poor Keirsten tore her ACL while there this summer and it looks like she is going to need surgery :( but she is taking it all really well . I guess she takes after her dad when it comes to her knees

A Day at the Fair
Well we have always been involved with the fair usually taking sheep and chickens and a cooking project. We love it and always have been so blessed . Of course being in 4-h you would get a pass for the whole week ,so over the last couple of years it has really shocked me what it cost to get into the county fair!!! Way more then our family could afford.
But I found in the paper that they had started a get in free morning :) So of course we didnt want to miss that . Packed a few snacks and headed off . Keirsten and I and Lizzie had to me everyone a little later because we had Dr. appt for keirsten . Thats a whole other story LOL !!! So I thought I would share a few pictures of the day , Pictures really are worth a thousand words .
Everyone had so much fun and of course it was Nathaniel and Elizabeths first time at a fair .And Iam pretty sure they liked for the most part :)
We were blessed to have my best friends Daugther and expected momy to walk around with us ,which made the day that much better :)
You cant come to the fair with out enjoying the tractors,

We still were not up there yet so here is part of the family!!

Now a little time with the animals :)

I do believe they really love the sheep and the sheep love them

Chelsea is always a big help :)

Gracie made a great friend

Here is Keirsten , Ashley Bohl and Chelsea :)

Haircut Day , What a experience :)
Well as you will soon see Haircut Day at our House is Quite the experience !!!! I would maybe call it a nightmare , which is why Iam forever grateful for some reason my sweet husband not only does this job . He actually seems to look forward to it.
Maybe it might have something to do with the fact that we had 6 Beautiful and usually long hair daugthers for almost 17 years . Of which I was the one who typically took them for haircuts , or did it my self. Although my girls would say for sure they wish I hadnt did there Haircuts for them ever :)
I guess he figures it is his turn with this and honestly I just cant imagine everyone going through this with their boys!!! Oh my!! I will say that is really is getting better and right now only Josiah who is 2 seems to really have the major meltdown. He has alway s had so much hair so he has had quite a few haircuts . But he still really doent like them .
So the other day it was well past our time for haircuts and like usual daddy took a older sister for help (marissa first time going ) .And as you can see life is still really good , not sure josiah really has a clue where he is going but it is bye, bye and he loves to go anywhere with daddy .
But as you can see from the pictures below it is starting to come back to him and Iam sure he is looking for a escape !!!

In Josiah's defense daddy did say it went much better, although I do beleive Marissa might have a different view of it :) So here it goes!!!!!

Here goes our pro Micah and he is a still as a statue and not moving anywhere. Of course it was definatly not always like this ,so hope by the time they get to 4 years old they will be just like their big brother Micah .And of course the nice piece of candy the barber ALWAYS has waiting for him probally has something to do with it :)
Next a sweet Nathaniel who is not doing to bad as long as daddy is right with him!!
And Now for Little Josiah who as you can tell could care less about the piece of candy he will be getting and wants out of there.Have I told you what a wonderful Barber we have . For what he goes through he is always so patient and so kind and makes it so much fun for the children !!! And of course he always has a piece of candy for Gracie and that saves alot of peace around our house.
But in case you are wandering he did make it through another haircut and hopefully the next visit will get a little better. And everyone is all smiles after eating their piece of candy :)

Started homeschooling and we are in it for the long haul :)

Well 2 days ago Gracie started her first day of kindergarten and we have decided to finally just do it and are going to homeschool. We are really not even nervous any more about the decision . For probally 10 years or so we have felt god calling our family to do this . We do know it happens all in his time so I will not have any regrets , nor are we upset about anything with the public school . Now mind you there ARE ALOT of things I dont like , I just cant get that tugging away from my heart to homeschool them , So we are .
It doesnt make me a better wife , mother or daughter of christ. It just might make me different :)then how you may be doing schooling. I know I will make a lot of mistakes , but I love them and am in it for the long haul .

Nathaniel LizzieWe are a very blessed family .Our oldest daughter Ashley and Jessica are in there 4th year for Social Work and Teaching and we are so proud of them . They have worked so hard . Marissa decided instead of doing her last 2 years of high school she would do post secondary , which is where the state pays for them to go to college. In all she saved almost 15,000 including her books !!WOW!!! She acutually graduated with a associate degree and her High school diploma ,But the most amazing part is she will start as a junior in the Nursing program for her bachlors degree . Keirsten who is also a junior is following in her sisters footsteps and doing post secondary this year also . Chelsea is doing school at home through her school . It isnt exactly what I like but after this year she will also do post secondary and for the state to pay for it you have to be enrolled in the public system ! With her kidney issues we didnt want a repeat of last year when /or if she would be back in the hospital . It made school very very hard on her.

Josiah (Daddies twin)

Josiah (Daddies twin)
Ashley spent the summer in Mexico with Crossroads as a intern and was truley blessed by her experience .Although we did miss her we knew for quite a while this was something she really needed to do . We are so amazed at her maturity in her walk with Christ . Even when the road is hard she still follows what she feels Christ has for her life. If only I had her wisdom at that age.
Jessica is always surprising me after many years of not wanting to work at the christian camp that many of our girls have worked or volunteered at , this year she decided she would . I really wasnt sure how it would turn out . But I can say she was very blessed by her time there and a great blessing to them. I watched her in her walk with christ become even closer then ever before . It was as though she had found her self , and is very much in love with christ. She is a beautiful young, smart women .
Marissa well let me say , she is always a interesting girl . Very Very smart and has a passion for christ that no one could ever doubt . I was a little worried since she does have her passport I might be getting a call from her she hopped on a plane to join a mission in Africa :0 ) . Now as wonderful as that is , this momy might not get any sleep . I do know as soon as she has her nursing she will be going where the lord calls her , so how can I have any fear in that. God is so good.
Keirsten WOW!!! Well let me start off by telling you for the first time in 16 years by sweet Keristy is 2000 miles away from me and has been for most of the summer. If any of you know keirsten she doesnt go far and to get on a plane and fly international . Well only god can be given the credit for that . She felt truley called by christ to go and volunteer at a christian camp in canada ALL by her self . And I know it was SOOO hard for her.She leaned completly and totally on God . The amount of strength and love she has for him is just overwelming . She is in love witht the family who runs it and has taken her in as their own. I could not have survived this long , but thankfully god has sent another mother in my place for keirsten and Iam so thankful for that !! And she has grown so much in her walk with christ.
Chelsea , where should I start . First off by saying the little ones LOVE her and they cant stand to be apart from her. And sometimes she might drive me crazy and then I see her pick up one of her little brothers and love all over them . She is so so loving with children , she is kind and gentle with them . Some people really dont like kids and it shows , but chelsea would rather just put on a cartoon and snuggle with a little sister and brother then most anything . She is coming into her own and really loves god . One quality is if you really want to know the truth just ask chelsea , she is a honest as can be :) And if anyone has a issue with one of her older sisters , well you had better watch out . She wont have any of it , very protective of her siblings . Her daddy and I love her so much . And as of today she can now drive a vehicle of course with a parent !!!!!! It is hard to believe , but now we have 5 children driving .
So that leave Gracie , Micah and josiah and Nathaniel and Sweet Elizabeth . They are just amazing to have and a blessing from God . I will update more on them and of course with pictures later . But I felt the need to right about my older children , the girls call themself the first family LOL ,but what they dont realize is they were and are so wonderful , beautiful ,smart and most importantly love God with all their heart and being . How could Keith and I not want to have a whole house full just like them .
Please dont think Iam bragging although Iam proud, I truley want to give credit to God and only god !!!!!! We have always tried to lean and learn from him and he has been the one has made these girls who they are today . He has sent Many wonderful people in mine and Keith's life to help us raise our children . Too many to name , but one in particular who has taught me and went ahead of me when it comes to mothering , her name is Nancy . AND I KNOW God put her in my life to show me the way to him .
Well that would leave my Dear sweet Husband who is the most amazing father and Husband that a women could ever dream about . I will save the update on him for later . But I pray CONSTANTLY the girls will find a husband just like their dad. He loves God more then anything and a love for his family that I have never seem before in any mand Thankyou lord for my sweet family , I would not change a single thing :)

My sweet Micah who is always busy taking something apart :)

Mission trip to Haiti
Well lately alot on our mind is a trip my husband and 2 daughters are going to be taking to Haiti. WOW , its hard to believe they are going to another country in about 11 weeks, but that is where my husband and daughters feel very called to go to . We have been supporting a orphanage there mostly with prayer and some gifts at Christmas for the last 2 years and love the children that are there. They were planning a work trip and my husband said he wanted to take the girls the first time on a mission trip out of the country. They have done a few one in Arizona and Chicago , but Keith thanks it's very important to do them around your own area and bless the poeple you know, so we try hard to do those things also.It always feels so good to bless someone else , I love it . They are excited but nervous they got all thier shots about a month ago and went to apply for passports about a week ago . Our church is being very supported and going to hold the money for us as they raise the funds for it. Another dear family they we are good friends with, the dad and daughter are going , they are going to be so blessed to share all of this together. Iam scared Haiti is very corrupt country and they are going to have a armed guard with them at all time. Thehotel they will be in is the same one the u n guards stay in , so Iam praying for guards protection for them the WHOLE trip. I love them so much and will miss them it is for a week .Please be in prayer for them we would appreciate it greatly. God is so good to our family , even though things are hard at times , we feel sosososo blessed . We have been fight the flu and broncities sp?? lately and I got it and it wasn't pretty . I hate to be sick!! Thank the lord for such a great family they all pitched in and poor dad only missed one day thank goodness. Well write more later

Tubal Reversal Miracles Micah Part 2

Well I guess where I left off was telling you how wonderful and happy we are to be having another baby, and we are so happy . Most people Do not realize that there are alot of women who do not end up having babies after having this reversed, there is not much i know what to say about that except Iam so sad for them and I hurt for them and I pray they will be given peace in what ever situation they are in . Each child could easily be my last, it is alot easier for my tubes to close because of so much surgery that has been done, so they say. I will just keep trusting god, in plenty and in want!
I know god has is own time and he did for us.
Please know I was always thankful for my girls and was content being their momy, but there was still a hole in my heart. How do you miss someone you have never met , but we did. My Husband just cried after each one of our last 2 babies , well he cried after all of our children being born. But this last time having been given a gift that at first we thought we would never have again ,it is just overwhelming . Back to my Handsome Husband. What can we say WE LOVE HIM. It was a very hard labor I was induced and made it to 8 but could not take it any longer they have that potosin so high I could hardly breath, gave in to the epidural and of course it fell out had to do it again, another quick labor and 1 push my 8 lb 13 oz baby came out. Thankyou So much Jesus for another beautiful gift 7 BLESSINGS and my wonderful godly husband Iam very blessed!!

Tubal Reversal Miracles Gracie Part 1
The good lord has blessed us so far with 2 beautiful reversal blessings , But to really tell the story I must go back to 2004. Sometime in the beginning of the year, god had started laying it upon our heart that we had made a huge mistake after our 5th daughter was born in 1995, having my tubes tied.
We prayed and read a wonderful book called Full Quiver. Well here comes the crazier part I had come across a board called Rio Bravo that had women on there that had went to Dr. Perez and he was in MEXICO. Well you are talking to a women who NEVER gets on a plane and when I have had too I made my 4 year old sit with her sister so I could hold Daddys hand(very Bad I know). But when God decides things are going to happen everything else fades, including my irrational fear of flying. God gives us so much Grace and after still doing alot praying we knew we had to try and see if we could return my body back to the way god had made it, and then except any gifts if God was willing to give them to us. God provided the money , babysitting from very DEAR friends who kept them all, time off from work.
So Off we went to Mexico with the thought in my husbands head if it looks crazy when we get there we are on the next plane out of there!!!! I wont go into great detail now But the whole experience of stepping out on Faith and doing what we knew God was telling us to do was overwhelming. It went perfect , perfect perfect. The Hospital was the best I have ever been in, and the kindest doctors I have ever met. That was in May of 2004 and 5 months later I saw the most beautiful line I have ever saw a Pregnancy line. We found out on sweetest day and we were so excited, the girls were so excited.
In Nov. all of a sudden I started bleeding so bad I soaked everything I was near and since it is more likely to have a tubal I went in.Being told it was a miscarriage. My husband is on his way home from work my older daughter is driving me,as we are leaving we see our beloved dog dead in the road. I was really over welmed . I so wanted this baby and was praying so hard , called a dear friend who had kept our children when we went to Mexico. As I am crying she tells me to stop getting upset and that I was going to be ok, this happen's sometimes and the baby is just fine.
Long story short the Good Lord saved our baby and 8 months later I was holding our little Grace. WOW did our life change and for the better I cant find words to describe it!!!! Our children never, never sat her down. I only got to hold her to bre*st feed .. She was born 1 year and 1 month after our reversal. Thank you God!! Just when you think you can not be anymore blessed we found out we were having another baby. We were sosososo excited. The funny part is when we went for a sonogram we got the surprise of a lifetime , she said after 6 beautiful daughter We were having a BOY!!!! I almost fell off the table . So 14 months after gracie was born were holding our 2nd reversal blessing. GOD is so good . I will tell more about our new little prince in part 2
